Lace Robe
Lace Robes
Lace on a robe works as detail, not as the whole piece. That's the principle here. A lace trim along the front placket, a lace panel across the yoke, a lace edge on the cuffs — the lace gives the robe character while the base fabric does the actual work of being a robe.
Our lace robe collection uses silk, satin, or bamboo as the base. Silk-based lace robes are the more considered version — silk that drapes properly, with lace as accent. Bamboo-based lace robes are the everyday version — soft, machine-washable, with lace detail lifting them above plain. Satin-based lace robes fall between the two, with visible glossy finish and lace trim.
The quality of the lace matters more than it seems. Cheap lace scratches, catches on things, and looks tired after a few washes. Good lace stays soft against the skin, keeps its structure, and doesn't lose its shape over time. Everything in our collection uses lace chosen specifically to wear well.
Placement varies across the collection. Some robes have lace only at the front placket and cuffs. Some have lace panels across the back yoke. Some use lace along the entire hem. The variation is intentional — different lace placements suit different silhouettes.
Care follows the base fabric — silk hand-washes, bamboo machine-washes cool, satin gentle cycle. Sizes XS through 6XL. Italian design, free worldwide shipping.
