Lace Nightgowns

Lace on a nightgown works as detail. A lace bodice with silk skirt below. A lace trim finishing the hem. A lace panel across the back yoke. The lace gives the nightgown character; the base fabric does the actual work of being a nightgown.

Our lace nightgown collection uses silk, satin, or bamboo as the base. Silk-based lace nightgowns are the more considered version — silk skirt with lace bodice or lace trim, cut on the bias for drape. Bamboo-based lace nightgowns are the everyday version — soft, breathable, machine-washable, with lace as accent. Satin-based lace nightgowns fall between the two.

The quality of the lace itself matters. Cheap lace scratches, catches, loses shape after washing. The lace we use stays soft against the skin, holds structure, and doesn't tear. That's part of what you're paying for.

Lace placement varies across the collection. Some nightgowns have a lace bodice with a plain skirt below. Some have lace only at the hem. Some use lace panels across the back or shoulders. The variation is intentional — different lace placements suit different silhouettes and different comfort preferences.

Care depends on the base fabric — silk hand-washes or goes on gentle cycle in a mesh bag; bamboo machine-washes cool; satin gentle cycle.
